Layering sunscreen with your makeup protects your skin from sunburn, dark spots and skin cancer. You can apply it before and after makeup, depending on the time for which you remain exposed to sun.

Some Tips for Applying Sunscreen with Makeup

Look for a Clean and Moisturised Face First

Clean and moisturise your face properly to remove excess dirt and oil from your face. Also, wait for your moisturiser to absorb before moving to the next step.

Apply Sunscreen 

Apply sunscreen at least of SPF-30 all over your face and neck. Also, blend it properly and allow it to absorb before moving to the next step.

Apply Makeup

Once sunscreen is fully absorbed, you can apply your makeup as normally done. Apply lightweight formulations and foundation to avoid a cakey look.

Reapply Sunscreen Throughout the Day

Use spray sunscreen after your makeup is done. Also, if your sun exposure time is more, apply sunscreen throughout the day. 

Remember – sunscreen is an important part of your skincare routine. You have to apply it regularly even if you spend most of your time indoors.
