Lipstick is the main makeup product in our beauty kit. It helps enhance our looks and complement our makeup. But when you do not take proper care, lipstick is smudged out. The reasons behind the lipstick smudging are-

Not Exfoliating Lips Properly 

Before applying lipstick, exfoliate your lips properly and remove all dead cells. This provides a smooth and soft surface to apply lipstick that makes you look better.

Not Applying Lip Balm 

Lip balm is essential to prevent smudging, so apply it for at least 10-15 minutes before putting on lipstick. Those with dry lips must take extra care.

Forget to Use Translucent Powder 

If you are using liquid or matte lipstick, lipstick might smudge. To prevent it, use a translucent powder and use it on your lips. It not only prevents it from smudging but also makes it long-lasting.

Avoid Underlining with a Concealer 

Once you’re done with the lipstick, take a concealer and run it around the outside of the lip line to clean up and sharpen the edges.
