What is Transition Shade Makeup?
Transition eyeshadow shade is used to create a seamless transition between two contrasting colours. Like if you use a light colour on your eyelids and a dark colour along your brow bone, the transition eyeshadow shade would be used to create a flawless gradient effect. So, the transition shade is used as a melting point between two eyeshadow contrasting colours to help them blend.
How to Use Transition Shade?
Prime Your Eyes First
Before using transition eyeshadow, apply primer on your lids for smooth coverage. This helps the shadow blend easily on the lids and provides even colour application.
Apply a Transition Shade
The shade colour depends on the look you want to achieve. Apply a transition shade before darker colour to the area just above the crease. Then use a brush to the areas where two contrasting eyeshadow colours will meet.
Colour Your Lids
Now you can apply the rest of your shadow shade on your eyes as usual.
Define Your Crease
To define your crease, use a fluffy brush back-and-forth to blend it into your transition shade eyeshadow.
Highlight Your Arch
Add more dimension to your look by highlighting your arch. Now take a clean brush to blend your overall shadow perfectly.
