Threading is a painful process that needs extra care to reduce redness and skin irritation. Here, we have some ideas, using these, you can protect your skin after threading.

Use Ice Cubes

You can rub an ice cube on the threaded area to reduce puffiness and redness. Use these ice cubes or cold compress immediately after threading to soothe your eyebrows.

Spray Rose Water

Spray rose water on the threaded area. As rose water comes with anti-inflammatory properties, spraying it on your brows helps reduce redness or irritated skin. Consider applying it throughout the day to soothe your skin.

Apply Aloe Vera Gel

Just after threading, apply aloe vera gel. It provides a soothing effect to the threaded area and reduces puffiness. If you don’t have gel, use aloe vera cream.

Tea Tree Oil

Tea tree oil comes with skin-healing properties. Apply tea tree oil to the brows to reduce inflammation.

Don’t Exfoliate

After threading, our skin becomes fragile and harsh exfoliation may make the situation even worse. So, don’t exfoliate your skin for at least 24 hours after threading.

Sunscreen

Sun rays can irritate the newly threaded skin. Incorporate sunscreen in your skincare routine to prevent irritation.
