Yoga can help improve skin health in several ways

Reducing Stress

You can reduce stress and anxiety by doing yoga. When our body feels stressed, a cortisol hormone is produced, which leads to increased oil and inflammation. By doing yoga, you can reduce your stress level and the negative effects of cortisol on your skin. 

Increasing Blood Flow

Poses and breathing exercises of yoga help increase blood flow throughout the body, giving it nutrients and oxygen. This improves the skin, making it look radiant and young.

Improving Sleep

Regular yoga practice improves sleep. When we sleep properly, it helps repair damaged cells. New cells are also produced, and these help better your skin.  

Balance Hormone

Some yoga poses, like inversion and forward folds, balance hormones. Due to hormonal imbalance, skin problems start, such as premature ageing and acne. Doing yoga regularly regulates our hormones and improves the health of our skin. 

Detoxifying the Body

Yoga poses, such as twists and inversions, stimulate the lymphatic system and eliminate toxins from the body. It improves skin health and lowers the risk of breakouts.
