Wearing contact lenses can be difficult for many but with regular practice and proper hygiene, one can wear the same easily. Here are the steps one should follow to wear contact lenses easily.

Wash Your Hands

Before wearing lenses, always clean your hands to protect lenses from dirt and bacteria.

Prepare Your Lenses

Make sure your lenses are clean and in good condition..

Mirror Setup

Put a mirror at eye level to help you see what you’re doing.

Hold the Lens

Pick your lens using your hand and hold it on the tip of your index finger.

Use Your Other Hand

Use your other hand to make your upper and lower eyelids open.

Look Straight 

Focus on a fixed point to keep your eye steady.

Insert the Lens

Gently place the lens on the centre of your eye. Blink a few times to let the lens settle.

Repeat for the Other Eye

Repeat the process for the other eye if you wear lenses on both.

Remove Air Bubbles

If you feel air bubbles under the lens, close your eye and gently massage your eyelid to move the lens into place.

Blink and Adjust

Blink a few times to centre the lens properly. If it’s uncomfortable or blurry, gently move it with your fingertip.

Keep your lenses clean and follow your eye doctor’s instructions for care and replacement.
