Common Methods for Removing Facial Moles

Surgical Excision

Surgical excision involves cutting moles out of your skin with a scalpel. This is a simple and quick procedure, and can usually be performed by a professional using

local anaesthesia.

Laser Removal 

With this, the laser is used to burn off the mole. Laser method is typically less invasive than surgical excision but may not be as effective for larger moles.

Shave Removal 

As the shaving uses a small blade, it also follows the same to shave the mole off at the surface of the skin. This may be more convenient for smaller moles that are not deeply embedded in the skin.

Do note that removing a mole does carry some risks such as scarring and infection.
