Puffy bottom eyes mean mild swelling or puffiness under them. Commonly, this happens when you age as the tissue under your eyes becomes weaker. Also, the fat supporting the eyes moves into the lower eyelids, causing them to appear puffy.

The symptoms arise when your skin starts sagging or the space below your eyes gathers fluid that makes the area look fuller and/or swollen. Several other reasons cause puffy button eyes, including -.

  • Fluid retention, especially when you wake up or after a salty meal
  • Ageing
  • Lack of sleep
  • Genetics
  • Allergies or some infections
  • Smoking
  • Medical conditions, such as dermatitis, thyroid eye disease or many more.
